I will either feel pretty good about how I’ve been doing, or think that everything I draw is utter crap. I guess it all comes down to the concept of artist blocks, but I really feel inconsistent. Like I’m teetering between taking a step forward in my style and taking steps back. It’s really annoying, lol.
Then I look at artists whose work I think is great and they are having this self-deprecating attitude towards it - or even artists whose work isn’t so great yet but they have a lot of confidence in it. It’s just kind of funny to see how people feel about their work based on their level of perfectionism/how their eyes perceive certain things, I suppose.

Are we really so different that we must be horrified of one of them uncovered, and completely okay with the other?
